After graduating from Antwerp's Royal Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied alongside the Antwerp Six, Belgian designer Martin Margiela went on to work with several notable designers, including Jean Paul Gaultier, before establishing his eponymous line in 1989. Known for keeping an extremely low profile, Margiela is noted for his avant-garde approach to fashion and art of deconstruction. Although Margiela no longer actively heads the company, the line continues to push the boundaries of contemporary fashion. Shop the Collection
Taking cues from the '50s for DSQUARED2's Spring/Summer '18 collection, the Caten twin desginers present a series of pastel shades, dramatic tulle accents and frill trims reminiscent of retro-inspired prom dresses and tuxedos. These pointed court shoes subtly reference the era with their sherbert yellow colourway, cut with a pointed toe, high stiletto heel and finished with a slim ankle strap and side buckle fastening, which can be removed for a choice of style options. Made in Italy, impeccable quality is implicit, finished with a leather insole and sole.
