New York resident, Stuart Weitzman started designing shoes for his father’s factory in the early 1960’s when he was in his 20’s. After graduating with a degree in business from The University of Pennsylvania, Weitzman decided to re-inherit his late father’s business from a company in Spain, where he still manufactures his designs. Every shoe Weitzman creates embodies the confidence and beauty of women with the use of unique materials, ensuring not only versatility but the luxury of comfortability. Shop the Collection
Taking cues from the '50s for DSQUARED2's Spring/Summer '18 collection, the Caten twin desginers present a series of pastel shades, dramatic tulle accents and frill trims reminiscent of retro-inspired prom dresses and tuxedos. These pointed court shoes subtly reference the era with their sherbert yellow colourway, cut with a pointed toe, high stiletto heel and finished with a slim ankle strap and side buckle fastening, which can be removed for a choice of style options. Made in Italy, impeccable quality is implicit, finished with a leather insole and sole.
